Nature parks in Trentino

The world's biggest garden: Trentino's nature parks

Have you always dreamed of a house with a garden where your children can play? Then come to Trentino - the nature parks are its very own immense garden.
More than a third of our province has protected status, whether national parks, such as the Stelvio, or nature parks, such as the Adamello Brenta or the Pale di San Martino. Trentino –the green province.

As well as these parks, there are more than 200 local and over 70 provincial nature reserves. In Trentino, we don't play in the garden, in Trentino everywhere is a garden!

Nature parks you can visit when on holiday in Trentino

The region's three largest protected areas are: the Stelvio National Park, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park. It doesn’t matter where you decide to spend your holiday in a My Family Hotel hotel, having a large park nearby is an opportunity not to be missed!

Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park

At the far eastern edge of Trentino and covering over 190 square kilometres, the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park is a world of water courses, rocks and forests inviting discovery and leisurely exploration–in winter, too. It has two visitors' centres where you can learn about the most important natural and ethnographic features to be found at the foot of one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

Stelvio National Park

An exceptional mountain Park encompassing imposing massifs, Ortles-Cevedale reigning supreme. Around three quarters of the Stelvio National Park lies at over 2000 m above sea level.
Covering an area of around 17,500 hectares, it takes in two lateral valleys of the Val di Sole, Val di Peio and Val di Rabbi.

Adamello Brenta Nature Park

The Adamello Brenta Nature Park covers an area of 620.51 km2, the largest protected area in Trentino. It lies to the west of the region and encompasses the Adamello and Brenta mountain groups, the latter a World Heritage Site.
